Luxury House, Bosham

This new build luxury home was constructed by contractors R W Armstrong & Sons Ltd.  Waverley were involved at an early stage in the specification of blinds and curtains to this project, and after much detailed consultation the client decided on mainly motorised blinds and curtain tracks, integrated into the home automation system along with lighting and other controls.

Lutron are high quality products and, as the motorised blind and curtain operation is almost silent, these are an excellent choice for a luxury residential home.

We worked closely with the Interior Designer, Perring Design, who selected and provided us with free issued fabrics for curtains and roman blinds.

Entrance Hall

Silent Gliss Roman Blind – lined and with manual operation.

Entrance Hall (Rear)

Silent Gliss 4910 Roller Blinds with manual operation to the South facing elevation in Colorama 2 FR fabric

with bespoke metal fascia in an anthracite colour to conceal the system and compliment the glazing.

Drawing Room

Motorised Lutron Roman Blinds and Lutron Ripplefold curtain track with Wave curtains, integrated into the home automation system (see our video above).  The curtains were bordered with contrasting fabric and lined.

Dining Room

DrapeTech Double Pinch Pleat Curtains on Silent Gliss 6970 Hand-Drawn Curtain Track.  We provided bespoke covered lathe in matching fabric to conceal the track.

Family/Cinema Room

Motorised Lutron Roman Blinds with blackout fabric lining.

Dressing Room

Silent Gliss Roman Blind with manual operation in free issue fabric and lined.

Master Bedroom

Motorised Lutron Curtain Tracks with DrapeTech Double Pinch Pleat Curtains to the main bedroom on the rear elevation overlooking the harbour.  These curtains had blackout interlining.

Other Bedrooms

Silent Gliss Roman Blinds and Silent Gliss 6970 Curtain Tracks with Double Pinch Pleat Curtains, all with blackout lining.

Garden Studio

Silent Gliss Roman Blinds and DrapeTech Curtains – both with blackout lining – were installed to this separate annexe.

Rear Elevation

The rear of the house has fabulous views of Chichester Harbour but, being South facing, there was a need for additional cover.  Waverley supplied and installed a Weinor Opal II external awning, which provides welcome shade at the back of the house.

With integral wind sensors, LED lighting, heaters and the cassette making the awning so unobtrusive when closed – plus of course the benefit of a 10 year warranty – this is a great finishing touch to this home, providing not only shade but additional social space as well.  See our video above.
